December 28, 2011

Oldsmar, Florida. Michael Pinson, founder of the Pinson Foundation, the charitable arm of Pinson Communications, announced that a $1,000 grant was issued to the Lewis Abraham Lacoochee Boys and Girls Club.

“We are very happy that we could help support the Lewis Abraham Lacoochee Boys and Girls Club with this grant.” said Michael Pinson.

Ronnie Deese, Chairman of the Board of Trustee of the Lewis Abraham Lacoochee Boys and Girls Club stated "The opportunity to have a safe place and meet role models who make positive changes to a child's life is what the Boys & Girls Clubs provide and is only made possible through donors such as the Pinson Foundation.  It is through wonderful people like those at Pinson Foundation who freely give to others of their time and their money that we become more than a collection of people but a society and a community.  The world needs more organizations like Pinson Communications, the Pinson Foundation. The Lewis Abraham Lacoochee Boys & Girls Club appreciates their commitment."

The Lewis Abraham Lacoochee Boys & Girls Club works to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Annually, the Lacoochee Club serves nearly 500 at risk youth in comprehensive out of school time programming. The Lacoochee Boys & Girls Club believes every child has the potential to be great. In support of this strong conviction, the Club strives to build driven and independent adults. The Boys & Girls Club family - a community of staff, volunteers, parents, youth and supporters - work together to create a positive place, full of hope and opportunity, for every child in East Pasco County.

A person does not reach the full circle of personal success until he consistently gives their time and/or money to help those in need in their local community. The economy has been very tough since about 2008, and we thank our Foundation supporters and our customers at Pinson Communications who have made this possible, said Michael Pinson.

The Pinson Foundation is a small nonprofit charitable 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 2006, and is the charitable arm of Pinson Communications, Inc. The Foundation has no employees, pays no rent or office space and is managed solely by volunteers. The Foundation helps support primary local charitable causes. In January 2010,  the Pinson Foundation reached outside the United States when it funded and lead  a 11 person surgical team after the Haiti earthquake and the Foundation team returned to Haiti in May 2010 to help re-supply local orphanages and clinics in need. The Pinson Foundation is directly supported by the local community, Pinson Communications and Michael Pinson.
